At Global Poly Water Tanks we have the skills and knowledge to manufacture more than just water tanks, our Fly Out Pods are a great example of this.
Commencing with the Three Capes Track and designed for PWS, flyout pods are an environmental holding tank solution, flown in and out of locations to environmentally dispose of contents using helicopters. Fly out pods are now in usage across all parks locations throughout Tasmanian wilderness and into some remote areas in Victoria.
The mould was designed and engineered by a team of aficionados including; Draftsman - Danny Mac, Mould Fabricator - Rinag Engineering, Certification - Tas Rigging and Global Poly Tanks - Roto moulders.
Further abroad they are now a successful solution used in Antarctica to store fresh water and removable waste water to base camps in Antarctica. Global fabricate the units and use fittings designed for extreme low temperatures with shrouds to protect those fittings during helicopter flight.
